Hinkle Creek Nature Trail
We went for a walk today on the creek and saw a field of really pretty yellow flowers. I think they are new since the
last visit. They looked like sunlight on the grass from a distance. This is what I first thought when I was approaching
the area. I thought that I could jump onto the field of yellow flowers, and that it would feel like a soft bed. It was even
better than a bedroom because there were so many nature sounds, like birds chirping, and crickets, and several other bird
sounds. These sounds always seem to make the creek enjoyable, sort of like an orchestra for background music. I tried to
find the actual name of this yellow flower and all I could find is that it was called a 'wildflower' by a photographer, who
photographed the same flower. Here is the link:

We were walking on the bike trail and I saw a field of Hybrid Catmint plants. When I was walking up to the field of Catmint,
it looked like a purple and silver velvet blanket. It looked as if I could jump onto it, and it would catch me in fluffy softness.
We walked on and also saw some dead trees. In a way they weren’t ugly, but they looked artistic like a picture of
the African Safari.

Today it was raining, not very hard, just a light sprinkle. The sky was cloudy and gloomy, but giving off a mystical look.
The air smelled so fresh, and felt cool along my face. The rain didn’t stop the birds from singing their songs.
We walked along a bridge and admired the mossy water beneath us that looked like grass. My eyes wondered off to a spot where
I saw a ball. Some kids must have lost it. Well I don't know how someone would retrieve it, you never know what creatures
are lying beneath. I looked up to the sky, I felt connected with the earth.
