Our Trip to Reno via Interstate 80 from Sacramento, California, turned out to be a memorable experience. We were
very blessed to make it okay, although there were accidents all around us. A normal two-hour trip took us exactly eight
hours. We didn't make it in time to see my Uncle Eddie and his wife Cathy in Reno, but had a nice ride on the way back

This car didn't have snow chains. When you get to a certain point on Interstate 80 near the Donner Pass area, if
you don't have snow chains, you can't go either way down the Interstate!
